M. T. Monguno Foundation Awards Scholarships to 50 Borno North Indigenes to Study Nursing

The M. T. Monguno Educational Foundation has awarded scholarships to 50 deserving indigenes of Borno North to pursue nursing careers at the College of Nursing Sciences, Maiduguri. This initiative complements the Prof. Zulum administration's efforts to produce skilled nurses and address the region's healthcare human resources deficit, where a similar College of Nursing has recently been established in Monguno.

Benefit Package

Fifty beneficiaries from across the 10 LGAs of Northern Borno will receive a comprehensive scholarship package, including: 1. Full payment of admission forms; 2. Special Computer-Based Test (CBT) 3.Training program with transport stipends and 4.Full registration payments up to graduation level.

The Director of the Foundation, Dr. Bashir Alhaji Bukar on behalf of Sen MT Monguno , advised the beneficiaries to remain committed to their studies and utilize this opportunity to excel in their chosen career. He commended Senator Monguno’s philanthropic efforts, which have positively impacted numerous lives in the region.
 
The Foundation’s Secretary, Dr. Abba Alkali Goni, also encouraged the beneficiaries to remain focused and hardworking. The brief event was attended by the Registrar of the College, Dr. Abba Jidda Harun; Ayatullahi Tijjani, Chief of Staff to Senator Monguno; and Dr. Allamin Tijjani Monguno, a Foundation member.
 
M. T. Monguno Educational Foundation prioritizes supporting higher education students and promoting girl child education. Currently, the foundation funds a scholarship program for 100 university students from the region.
