OUR HISTORY
The origin of the foundation
Established in 2022, the MT Monguno Educational Foundation emerged as a beacon of hope for the educationally underserved communities in Northern Borno. The foundation was founded by Senator Mohammed Tahir Monguno, driven by a vision to address the pressing educational challenges in the region. Since its inception, the organization has focused on providing scholarships, promoting girl-child education, reintegrating out-of-school children, and fostering overall educational development. Through its various interventions, the foundation has become a catalyst for revitalizing the educational sector in Northern Borno, ensuring access to quality learning opportunities for all, particularly the less privileged.
