One of his notable programmes are, empowerment of about 800 youths and women of his constituents with skill acquisition programme and a start up grant of forty million naira (40,000.000), Distribution of free Fertilizer and small agro grants aimed at boosting their economic well-being and to change the narratives of his constituency linked to the menace of the notorious insurgents Gang terrorizing particularly the northern part of his constituency. "Also Recalled Monguno's has Empowered 110 Constituents with Commercial Vehicles(MINI PICK UPS), 340 Constituents with 34 Million, 500 Constituents with Scholarship, 750 Youths and Women through capacity building training, 400 constituents with 20,000.000 twenty million naira, 300 constituents through skill acquisition programme, Disbursed 30,000.000 thirty million naira package to the participants, 30,000.000 to (600) six hundred women, Empowered (400) farmers with 20,000.000 naira and other farming inputs, Empowered 504 with 25.2 million naira and farming inputs, programmes, and all these empowerment programme has done in six months of MT Monguno in office as Senator. MT Monguno's plans is to reach out to all the people of his constituents, women and youths, Stakeholders, and Elders aimed to rid out security challenges and other social vices bedeviling the north and also improve the well-being of the northern borno people" said Mt Monguno.
